Here's a peek at our week ahead, which includes a St. Ed's favorite tradition- T-Shirt & Popcorn Day! Students may wear St. Edward's Spirit Wear shirts and school-appropriate out-of-uniform bottoms on Tuesday.

✝️👑What an honor to have Bishop Tylka visit St. Edward's Church and School today. We celebrated a beautiful mass together, then Bishop Tylka toured our classrooms for Q&A sessions with students. Topics ranged from favorite color (purple), favorite food (sausage pizza), and favorite miracle (the Eucharist), to favorite bible verse (Micah 6:8 "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God), the preciousness of life, what life is like as a bishop (he has good days and not-so-good days, just like us), and more. Our jaguar hearts are full. Thank you, Bishop Tylka! 👑✝️

Just in time for fall, our Parents' Club arranged for our St. Edward's Apparel Store to be open through the end of September! Use https://route29.tuosystems.com/stores/saintedwardchurch to grab your Spirit Wear through Route 29 right down the road here in Chillicothe. A portion of the proceeds comes back to us here at St. Ed's, but even better yet, when we wear the spirit wear with pride, we are showing off for our wonderful school.

📿✝️Our first All-School Rosary and Blessed Buddy Day was just so peaceful. There's no feeling quite like the collective calm of prayer our students get to experience here. 📿✝️

St. Edward's School was bustling with energy and love this morning during our Special Person's morning. Thank you to all who attended! Share your photos below.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, or other Special People, please join us on Monday morning, September 8th, from drop-off time until about 9:00 am.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade started the year showing off their math skills in relation to their favorite numbers. Ask your student what their favorite 5 math facts were related to their numbers and some other fun facts too!

⛪️Our First All-School Mass of the year on the Feast of Mary's Assumption and Father Martin's homily was as engaging as ever. It's great to see all the little (and big) hands in prayer. We are small, but MIGHTY! ⛪️

St. Edward's staff was treated to a day of spiritual development on Tuesday as part of our back-to-school teacher institute plans. The more we are connected to each other and God, the more we can support all of our students in their spiritual development. Our agenda included: Mass @ the Cathedral led by Fr. Martin🙏, guided tour of the Catherdral ⛪️, Life of Fulton Sheen Movie 🎬, Fulton Sheen museum tour. Thank you again to our Parent's Club who helped arrange for and provide lunch for the day. If you haven't been to the Catherdral or the Fulton Sheen Museum, they are a MUST! The experience helped us all feel at peace and powered up spiritually for the year ahead!
