Here's a glimpse at the week ahead:

We had a wonderful visit from Father Chase, the Director of Vocations in the Peoria Diocese, in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Thank you, Father, for your relatable and fun message for the children! The simple and powerful prayer was shared, "Lord, help me to want to be what you want me to be."

Join us on Sunday, January 25 at the 8:00 AM Mass, followed by donuts, coffee, and juice in the school cafeteria, and an Open House as we celebrate the wonderful parishioners who support St. Edward’s School. We hope to see you there!

📣St. Edward's School and office will be CLOSED on Friday, January 23rd due to low temperatures. In addition, there will be NO 7:30 am or 8:45 am School Mass. Stay warm and well! 📣

Staff enjoyed a peaceful Holy Hour and spiritual discussion from Father Mike Schaab during our institute today. Now we are ready and excited for the kids to come back tomorrow, Tuesday, January 6th!

Happy 2026! We hope that everyone's break has been relaxing, healthy, and full of time to enjoy loved ones. We are excited to welcome students back on Tuesday, January 6th. Check out the rest of the week's activities.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, the weather conditions are looking suitable for outdoor play! We invite students to bring snow boots, pants, gloves, and hats so they can play in the snow.

Note: if your child does not have boots, snow pants, and/or gloves, they can still play outside, but will be asked to stay out of the heavy snow so that their clothes stay dry as they return to class, and they stay safe with the cold temperatures.

Hopefully, this will be the first of many days that we will be able to have the children enjoy the wonder and JOY that snow brings!

Christmas Break takes place starting Monday, December 22, and classes resume for students on Tuesday, January 6th.

We hope to see all families at the Children's Christmas Eve Mass on December 24th @ 4:00 pm.
