Santa's Secret Shop is on its way into town again! This year's Santa Secret Shop will be open for students Tuesday-Thursday, December 5th-7th. We had a wonderful time participating in the Chillicothe Christmas Parade today!

Our new Preschool sign is up and looking great! Thank you to Dan Gray Signs for creating such a fun sign, and thank you to our fabulous volunteers for hanging it up. And a big thank you to the St. Edward Auction for funding this project. We are so fortunate to have the great people we do in our St. Edward Family!

The preschoolers finished a unit on fall this week just ahead of Thanksgiving. They enjoyed making and baking pies, sifting through fall colored noodles, searching for fall things, and building towers taller than themselves.

The Saint Edward boys' basketball team had their first game of the season tonight. It was a tough loss to Concordia Lutheran, but the boys played hard and gave it their all! Jaguar Pride!🏀🐆

Here are the 1st and 2nd graders with the milk-carton town they created! Each child designed a house as well as a business of their choice. Their little town has a school, fire station, police station, post office, an assortment of restaurants and shops, and much more! They enjoyed this group project and it turned out super cute!

The Student Council sponsored a friendly competition of collecting treats for veterans and the troops! In all we collected over 67 pounds of candy! Several students delivered goodie bags to Evergreen and Arc. Care packages are being mailed to troops in San Diego, New Orleans, North Carolina and even Germany! 🇺🇸 God bless our troops and veterans!

St. Edward Catholic School Finance Informational Meeting - Public Welcome The St. Edward Catholic School Education Commission Finance Sub-Team welcomes you to an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 6:30 in the parish hall. We will present a historical view of our school’s top line finances and highlight some programs you may be interested in. You are also welcome to come with suggestions for our team to consider. What's one of the things that makes our school special? Our older students get to spend time reading with our younger students! To finish out our Blessed Buddy Day, students joined together to spread the love of reading. What a great way to start our weekend!

To celebrate our Blessed Buddy Day, we had Culver's Custard! Our kids have worked hard and deserved a fun treat to end the week. We love those happy faces!

Today was Blessed Buddy Day here at St. Edward School! Our dress down theme was "Country or Rock'n'roll," and our kids nailed it!

Hey Jaguars! Don't forget to keep scanning those box tops!!!! If you would prefer we scan them, just send the receipts in to school with your kiddos and we will take care of that for you and send it back home! There is a 2 week window on receipts to be scanned.

5-6 Religion class is learning about God's forgiveness this week. Here they are acting out a modern day version of the Prodigal Son.

Sister Clare visited the 5-8 grades today and taught them about Catholic Charities in Peoria. She also showed them a Samoan dance before she left! Thank you Sister Clare!
